I choose the glass as my raw material par excellence because with it I can handle different techniques and get to create the work that I imagine, where the old meets the modern.
I work with contemporary jewelry and unique pieces of art and design.
My creative process begins at the torch. I work with both large and small flames, depending on the piece I want to perform. Blow and model. Then, I vaporize noble metals like gold and silver to dye the glass with shades that naturally fade.
When I want to generate textures on the pieces I resort to cold techniques like engraving and face painting.
In constant exploration, I am working in my studio BARCELONA GLASS STUDIO with a vacuum and filling system of noble gases (krypton, argon, neon) that allows me to generate plasma-blown glass luminaires.
