Agustina Ros is a young artist who seeks with glass to combine the time of the trade, the sensitivity of art and the resolution of design. Born in Misiones, Argentina, she currently resides in Barcelona, city that she chose to open her own studio with international projection.

Her pieces in contemporary jewelry are made in borosilicate glass, modeled and blown by the technique of flameworking. Some are worked with fine metal fuming (gold and silver), and by carving and polishing generates faceted looking for light reflection.

At this moment, she is developing a line of design and art objects with a neon technique called plasma, something unique in the world, with state-of-the-art equipment. In constant exploration, she collaborates with other artists and designers, with Institutes such as the IAAC and EUROPEAN STUDIOS of architecture and design.

It is worth mentioning that the artist, from her place BARCELONA GLASS STUDIO, seeks to generate glass culture, to position her art in the center of the world artistic scene.

Agustina Ros studied the technique of flamework with the artists FERRÁN COLLADO, SIMONE CRESTANI, AMY LEMAIRE and SUELLEN FOWLER; neon and plasma applied to glass art with JASON CHAKRAVARTY and JOE UPHAM; engraved with PAULINA CAMBALOVA, and contemporary jewelry with FRANCISA KWEITEL and GEMMA DRAPER.

She received scholarships at THE CORNING MUSEUM of GLASS and URBAN GLASS, both in NEW YORK, and in the same city in 2016 participated in the GAS (GLASS ART SOCIETY ) conference exhibiting her work during the fashion show.
