HEAT PROCESS: BOROSILICATE GLASS BLOWN
I begin creation working in the form. The oxygen / gas torch is a heat source, its flame allows to work in the modeling of the portion of boron tube that we seek to modify. Blowing, sucking, sculpting and maintaining the hollow part throughout its internal path.
FUMING
Once I obtain the appearance that my design aspires, I proceed to apply color to the external surface of the glass using the vaporization technique of noble metals (in this case liquid gold) exposing the work to the vapors that the metal emanates, using the initial flame of the fire and letting its exterior stain until obtaining the degradation of hues that I am looking for.
Finally I stabilize the piece by post-annealing in the oven at C ° pre-fussing.
